Bambu Lab X1E AP/TH Board Troubleshooting
Issue:
- Hotend temperature registering a non-normal value (0, 236c while ambient, +300c or any abnormal reading while idle when compared to the other temperature values)
- Swapping out the hotend assembly does not resolve the temperature issue.
- Micro Lidar is offline HMS_0C00-0100-0001-0001
- Toolhead is malfunctioning HMS_0500-0300-0001-0002
Cause:
- AP and/or TH board is damaged and needs replacement
- AP board was just replaced and the printer has not been registered with Bambu or flashed with new firmware.
- If the printer is not flashed with new firmware, the AP and TH boards will not communicate to each other and maintain the same issues as before.
- In order to get the printer to flash new firmware, it has to be connected to the internet and the new Serial Number and machine QR (Frame Serial number) need to be sent to Bambu to register on their cloud system.
