Fresh Install of MatterControl

In this guide, we will show you how to install MatterControl completely fresh on your Windows-based computer.

Step 1: Uninstall MatterControl from your computer

• Hit your Windows Key on your keyboard or navigate to the Start menu on your desktop.
• Type "Add or Remove" and hit enter, this should bring up the "Add or Remove Programs" screen.
• Find MatterControl and uninstall it.

Step 2: Remove the AppData Folder

• Hit your Windows Key on your keyboard or navigate to the Start menu on your desktop.
• Type in %appdata% and hit enter.  This will bring up a window that has an end destination of "Roaming".
• Go back one folder path and then enter the "Local" folder.
• Locate the "MatterControl" folder and delete it.

Step 3: Reinstall MatterControl

• Using the most current version available from our site, reinstall MatterControl.
• You will need to set up your printer again and run the standard Nozzle and Bed height Calibrations before printing again.
