How to Export Files from MatterControl

There are two ways to export a print-ready G-Code or MCX file type from MatterControl. 

OPTION 1:

1. Click the Slice Button

   

2. Click the Bed Icon, then select "Export"

   

3. Select the “Machine File (G-Code)” or "MCX File" option and be sure to check-mark "Apply leveling to G-code during export" if you use software leveling through MatterControl. Select "Export"

   

4. MatterControl will Pop-up a folder viewer where you can choose where to save your file.

OPTION 2:

1. Right-click in the build area and select “Export”
2. Select the “Machine File (G-Code)” or "MCX File" option and be sure to check-mark "Apply leveling to G-code during export" if you use software leveling through MatterControl. Select "Export"

   

3. MatterControl will Pop-up a folder viewer where you can choose where to save your file.

This file is ready to be loaded on an SD card or USB for printing.
